Having said that, grammar in korean and japanese are extremely similar–in fact i think you can safely consider them the same. however, japanese is a simple language to learn for a korean speaker, but korean is a challenging language to learn for a japanese speaker.. Differences between chinese, japanese and korean what are the similarities and differences between japanese, chinese and korean, and how should we go about learning them? to what extent can learning one help you with the others?. Learn japanese, not korean. although i was born & raised here in the usa. english is my 1st language but my family is filipino so i grew understanding the tagalog & ilocano language..
Korean grammar is like a more complicated version of japanese grammar – the grammars are similar, it’s just korean’s is more complex. japanese grammar also seems like a simplified version of korean grammar. korean is a beautiful language, it’s just quite a challenge.. Korean - as much as i love k-pop and some k-dramas, the language (for me) is somehow difficult to learn . japanese - a bit easier to learn compared to hangul . chinese - i know the language since i was a kid because of some family members.
